Small, trainer guided sessions give young puppies opportunities to safely meet, play and practice appropriate social behavior. Puppies 2-9 months old.

Tanner's Meet & Greet is not required.

REQUIRED FOR ALL PUPPIES ENTERING DAYCARE.
Puppies six months of age and younger enrolling in Tanner’s daycare complete our six-session Puppy Preschool program after successfully completing their Meet & Greet and Evaluation Days.
Preschool helps young puppies build the foundation they need to transition successfully into regular daycare. Training is tailored to each puppy and may focus on settling and transitions, responding to handlers, confidence, age appropriate manners and behavior within the Tanner’s daily routine.
This 6 session package includes a full day of daycare plus 30 minutes of private training during each visit.
One parent training session is also included. For new training clients only, one time purchase.
Available Monday - Friday.

Dogs older than six months may also be required to complete additional training support if our team determines during the Evaluation Process that it is needed before entering regular daycare.

Puppy Kindergarten is our comprehensive training program for families who want to go beyond the Preschool foundation and continue building their puppy’s skills at home, in public and as they grow.
Training builds on age appropriate foundations and may include socialization, leash skills, recall, greetings, impulse control, settling, confidence and everyday manners.
Each session includes a full day of structured daycare along with 30 minutes of private one-on-one obedience training during each visit, and includes two parent training sessions.
Available Monday - Friday.

Enrolling in Puppy Kindergarten fulfills the Puppy Preschool requirement.

One-on-one support for your puppy and family.
Private training is ideal for families looking for individualized help with specific puppy needs or who want to work directly with a trainer. Sessions can focus on leash skills, recall, puppy biting and jumping, settling, handling, confidence, household manners and other everyday challenges.
Choose private training at Tanner’s or in your home based on where your puppy needs the most support.
Puppies six months and younger entering daycare are still required to complete Puppy Preschool.

While your puppy is already spending the day at Tanner’s, enrichment can add even more opportunities to explore, sniff, problem solve, build confidence and enjoy one-on-one engagement with our team. Families can choose from everyday enrichment options as well as limited time seasonal experiences throughout the year.
Our enrichment approach draws from Tanner’s Five Pillars of Canine Enrichment to provide meaningful variety alongside their training and daycare routine.
Puppy Social
Puppy Social is a small, trainer guided one-hour session where young puppies can safely meet, play and practice appropriate social behavior with support from our certified dog trainer.

A Tanner’s account, age appropriate vaccination records and a negative fecal test are required before attendance. REGISTER HERE.
Open to Tanner’s clients and the public. A Meet & Greet is not required. Minimum enrollment required. Tanner’s may cancel or reschedule if minimum enrollment is not met; registered participants will be notified.
