Schedule your meet & greet appointment today
The Meet & Greet is where we meet you & your dog(s) for the first time. This can be scheduled on our website by clicking MAKE A RES above. Once your vaccinations are confirmed, you will come in at your scheduled time with your dog, and our trained staff will evaluate your dog for temperament, personality, etc. This process will take roughly 25-30 minutes. During this time we will give you a tour of our beautiful facility and answer all your questions -- whatever you need to make you comfortable that your dog is in the right place!
Dog owners are required to bring your dog's food on check in day. Please pre-package in individual ziplock bags. If all bags are the same, do not write the day/time on them. Aside from food, nothing else is required, however feel free to bring a favorite bed, blanket, snacks and/or chew toy if you wish. If you forget your food or run out while your dog is boarding, we will purchase for you, and charge you for the price of the food plus a convenience fee.
Many dogs suffer from anxiety and fear when they enter a new environment. We are aware of this, and handle these dogs with extra care and attention. All new dogs will start with a Trial Day, which is 2 hours ($28). During this time, dogs will play on our fenced in patio with one or two dogs at a time in order to get them adjusted to the pack environment. When they seem comfortable meeting all the dogs, we will slowly move them into the appropriate yard. Some dogs are in the yard within 30 minutes, some take 3 hours, and some never make it off the patio. We will never put a dog in a yard unless we are 100% comfortable that they are 100% comfortable.
When the weather is bad (rain, snow, cold, heat) we move the dogs to indoor play. We have plenty of indoor space for the dogs to play,
Yes! All areas of the indoor & outdoor spaces are under constant surveillance. This footage is required in order to monitor all dogs and staff throughout the day. If dog parents wish to see their pups while in our care, we are happy to FaceTime with you during certain times of the day. We will always send you photos of your dog playing in our yard everyday of your dogs stay.
Yes. Drop off for boarding is from 2-5pm on day of arrival, and 9-12noon on day of departure. If you drop off earlier or pick up later than those times, you will incur a half day daycare charge.
Our facility closes at 7pm sharp on weekdays and 6pm on weekends. If you are running late and will not arrive by closing time, your dog will be checked into the kennel and will stay with us overnight for boarding. We will feed your dog house food. You will be charged for these services.
We do not take dogs that are aggressive. If your dog has bitten a person or another dog, then Tanners is not the place for you. Dogs must be able to be handeled by our staff, and play nicely with dogs in our yard.
We will take un-altered dogs up to one year old. After that we cannot risk having the dog in our care.
Tanner's currently has availability in our kennel for boarding over Thanksgiving. Keep in mind we have a 4 night minimum at that time.
We are currently booked for boarding for Christmas/New Years, but we have a waitlist and people do cancel. If you request boarding on our portal, you will automatically be put on our waitlist.
We are also accepting New Clients for daycare, boarding and training. Request your Meet & Greet appointment by following the instructions under the MAKE A RES tab.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
