When you book a reservation at Tanner's Canine Resort, we hold a spot in our facility for your dog that is no longer available to other clients. Therefore, we ask that you cancel as early as possible to avoid a cancellation fee. This also gives another customer the opportunity to book your spot.
If your plans change, for whatever reason (including a positive covid test, flight cancellations, sick dog, etc.), and you need to cancel your reservation, we ask that you adhere to the following policies and timelines in order to avoid a cancellation fee.
If you do incur a cancellation fee, please do not ask the Tanner's staff to waive the fee. Or threaten to never bring your dog back to Tanners. This is a policy that every client agrees to and signs off on when they register as a new client. We are not punishing you, we are running a business and are simply enforcing a policy.
Peak Times include any reservation that includes at least one day below:

If a boarding reservation is confirmed by Tanners staff and then subsequently cancelled by the pet parent within 24 hours of the confirmation, then no cancellation fee will be charged. However the above cancellation policy will be in effect for any reservation that is confirmed for more than 24 hours.
