Tanner's Canine Resort in Waldwick, NJ opened in June 2020, and was designed exclusively with your dog's safety and care in mind. The property features clean, comfortable suites, expansive outdoor play yards with K9 Grass surfaces, agility and play equipment, small play groups suited to dogs' size and temperament, and a highly trained, attentive staff.

Keep in mind.....

• All dogs at Tanner's must be able to play well with other dogs within appropriate sized playgroups. We do not take dogs that cannot socialize with other dogs. 
• All dogs must be comfortable in a crate. All dogs at Tanner's take short rest breaks in crates (suites if boarding) throughout the day to prevent overstimulation and to prevent health risks after feeding.
• Dogs over one year of age must be spayed or neutered to join play at Tanner's. Un-altered puppies under a year are welcome, but must be spayed or neutered in order to return once they reach one year.
• Puppies must be a minimum of 8 weeks old and up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations in order to attend Tanner's.
• If you have a senior dog (12+ years old), please call and speak to our owner about whether or not Tanner's is the right place for your dog. Existing clients will be re-evaluated upon turning 12 years of age and may no longer be able to continue with our services if participation is no longer appropriate for their health, comfort, or safety.
• In order to come to Tanner's, all dogs must be a minimum of 10 pounds. Puppies under 10 pounds that will grow past that weight are welcome to come for the Meet & Greet, but cannot come for their first trial until they reach our minimum weight. 
• All new boarding clients must complete two full days of Daycare before their first Boarding stay. We cannot accept last minute Boarding requests for new clients.
