Suzanne is CEO and co-owner Freedmanne LLC, which owns Tanner's Canine Resort in Waldwick, NJ. She manages all aspects of running the business including sales, marketing, finance, HR, IT & customer relations. She's always wanted to own a business, and along with Tracey Manne, has created the perfect dog resort in Bergen County. She is a founder on the board of directors at Holy Bones, a non profit that employs people with intellectual disabilities to bake and package dog bones.
Tracey is President and co-owner of Freedmanne, LLC. After losing her beloved golden retriever Tanner to cancer in 2012, Tracey Manne started boarding dogs in her home.. Caring for many different dogs made her realize her passion was all things dogs. She raised 4 puppies for The Seeing Eye and studied dog training at Animal Behavior College, earning her certification in July 2016.
Alex has been a dog daycare supervisor here at Tanners Canine Resort since August 2020. There are two things that Alex loves in this world -- dogs and playing with them! What makes working here so special is that each dog is like his own. He gets to love and play with each and every dog while being able to send them home at the end of the day --sort of like a doggie Grandparent! In his spare time he loves taking care of his own dog Leia.
AJ has been a dog daycare supervisor here since June of 2021. She ran track in high school and now uses that energy to run and play with all of the dogs in the yard. Her mom has two Goldendoodles and her dad has two Lab mixes, so she’s always surrounded by dogs. She’s known to have a soft spot for doodles and lab mixes as a result.
Cam currently attends Bergen Community College online, and her love and passion for dogs brought her to work here at Tanners! When she isn’t with her work puppies, she spends her time training her own puppy, Indie! She is devoted to learning the ins and outs of dog behavior and training in hopes to open an in-home boarding business of her own in the future.
Casey is a mom to their daughter, cat and dog. She enjoys spending time working, caring for, and playing with Dogs. Giving all the dogs extra love whenever she is here.
Mathew has a background as a dog grooming assistant in Maryland, and is enjoying making use of her skills at Tanners. Her love of dogs started with her childhood Australian shepherd and has only grown since. She enjoys arts, crafts, and nature.
Liam is an outdoorsy, athletic guy who has had many dogs over the years. When he’s not working at Tanners he’s working as a carpenter alongside his uncle.
Brigitte is a Senior Shift Supervisor who graduated with a grooming certification from Animal Behavior College. She has a passion for animal behavior, specifically the roles dogs and horses can have to deepen the bond in many therapeutic modalities. When she is not at Tanner’s she can be seen riding her horse through wooded trails and volunteers by at a wild mustang sanctuary.
Jessica Abrams is deeply passionate about animal welfare, with a special love for dogs. Since 2020, she has been dedicated to fostering and rehoming dogs, helping them find safe, loving forever homes. In addition to her animal advocacy work, Jessica has a diverse professional background—she works in international development, focusing on impactful, community-driven initiatives, and also serves as a substitute teacher, bringing flexibility and compassion into the classroom.
Paige Grenier is a Senior Shift Supervisor here at Tanner’s. She’s been working with all kinds of animals going on 4 years now. She has a passion for the medical and behavioral side of all things animal. Although she went to makeup school, she found her true calling when she started working with animals. She has a black lab border collie mix at home, and two dachshunds. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching Jeopardy!
Dreanna has always had a passion and love for dogs since she was young. She has worked with dogs for over 5 years now. In her free time she enjoys painting, listening to music, and sleeping!
Elaine has a love for dogs' innocence and loyalty, and values the connection between humans and their 4-legged companions. Being a dog trainer for 30+ years with a B.A. in psychology and Minor in Art, Elaine completed her training under Auger's K-9 Kollege. Elaine has experience with group classes, agility, dock diving, rescue groups, CGC and Therapy dogs. Elaine is a sub school teacher, enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and black lab, Chloe.
Lisa has always had a passion for working with dogs and comes to us with 20+ years of experience working in local shelters and with various rescue groups while striving to develop her skills. She is a CATCH certified dog trainer, a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and the Co-Founder of Real Dog Rescue, a 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys time spent outdoors hiking, traveling and with her canine fur kids, Izzi and Henry.
Natalie is dedicated to fostering strong, lasting bonds between dogs and their families. She is a certified dog trainer and CGC Evaluator with hands-on experience working in daycares with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. She has taught both private and group obedience classes and held roles in daycare management and front desk operations, providing excellent customer service and daily support to pet parents. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her three dogs and two cats.
Mia has always had a passion for animals. She worked in the beauty industry for years before deciding to pursue a career with dogs. When shes not at Tanners, she’s busy taking care of her own two pups.
