Tracey is President and owner of Tannersmanne, LLC. After losing her beloved golden retriever, Tanner to cancer in 2012, Tracey Manne started boarding dogs in her home. Caring for many different dogs made her realize her passion was all things dogs. She raised four puppies for The Seeing Eye and studied dog training at Animal Behavior College, earning her dog training certification in July 2016.

Brigitte is a Senior Shift Supervisor who graduated with a grooming certification from Animal Behavior College. She has a passion for animal behavior, specifically the roles dogs and horses can have to deepen the bond in many therapeutic modalities. When she is not at Tanner’s she can be seen riding her horse through wooded trails and volunteers by at a wild mustang sanctuary.

Paige Grenier is a Senior Shift Supervisor here at Tanner’s. She’s been working with all kinds of animals going on 4 years now. She has a passion for the medical and behavioral side of all things animal. Although she went to makeup school, she found her true calling when she started working with animals. She has a black lab border collie mix at home, and two dachshunds. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching Jeopardy!

Jessica Abrams is deeply passionate about animal welfare, with a special love for dogs. Since 2020, she has been dedicated to fostering and rehoming dogs, helping them find safe, loving forever homes. In addition to her animal advocacy work, Jessica has a diverse professional background—she works in international development, focusing on impactful, community-driven initiatives, and also serves as a substitute teacher, bringing flexibility and compassion into the classroom.

Cam currently attends Bergen Community College online, and her love and passion for dogs brought her to work here at Tanners! When she isn’t with her work puppies, she spends her time training her own puppy, Indie! She is devoted to learning the ins and outs of dog behavior and training in hopes to open an in-home boarding business of her own in the future.

Mathew has a background as a dog grooming assistant in Maryland, and is enjoying making use of her skills at Tanners. Her love of dogs started with her childhood Australian shepherd and has only grown since. She enjoys arts, crafts, and nature.

Casey is a mom to their daughter, cat and dog. She enjoys spending time working, caring for, and playing with Dogs. Giving all the dogs extra love whenever she is here.

Niko Karapiperis – Yard Staff
Niko has always had a natural connection with animals. Growing up with three dogs, he developed a passion for caring for them from an early age. His Golden Retriever, Jax, is his constant companion, and Niko took the lead in raising and training him an experience that strengthened his love for working with animals. With patience and compassion, Niko takes pride in making sure every dog feels safe, cared for, and truly at home.

Lucy recently graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Computer Science, but her true passion lies in working with animals. She has a beagle-husky mix named Daisy (her “soul dog”) and hopes to build a career in the animal care field. When she’s not spending time with dogs, Lucy enjoys running and watching movies!

Joe: With a love and compassion for animals and kids alike, Joe joined Tanners after finding High School teaching was not the career for him. He turned his love for helping others into a dedication to his work at Tanner’s and all the dogs that pass through! In his free time Joe enjoys storytelling and writing alongside film.

Elaine has a love for dogs' innocence and loyalty, and values the connection between humans and their 4-legged companions. Being a dog trainer for 30+ years with a B.A. in psychology and Minor in Art, Elaine completed her training under Auger's K-9 Kollege. Elaine has experience with group classes, agility, dock diving, rescue groups, CGC and Therapy dogs. Elaine is a sub school teacher, enjoys hiking, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and black lab, Chloe.

Natalie is dedicated to fostering strong, lasting bonds between dogs and their families. After earning her training certification from Animal Behavior College, Natalie has been working and training in dog daycares, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. She is CGC Evaluator Certified and has experience teaching both private and group obedience classes. In Natalie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her own three dogs and two cats.

Natalie has a passion for pet care and has held roles in daycare management and front desk operations, where she provides exceptional customer service, supports pet parents, and ensures smooth day-to-day facility operations. When she’s not at work, Natalie enjoys crafting and spending time with her own pets.

Mia has always had a passion for animals. She worked in the beauty industry for years before deciding to pursue a career with dogs. When shes not at Tanners, she’s busy taking care of her own two pups.

Casey is a stay-at-home mom with a wonderful husband, young daughter, two dogs, and a cat! Their free time is filled with biking, fishing and hiking adventures! She also has 18 years in dog handling experience. From welcoming you and your dogs at the front desk to playing in the yard or tucking our boarding pups in at night, she does this because she truly love animals and the joy they bring!
