GROUP TRAINING CLASS

Tanner's now offers basic obedience group classes on Tuesdays in our yard from 7-8pm.   Starting September 5, 2023, our certified trainers will work with clients and their dogs to teach/reinforce basic obedience commands, work on social skills, proper leash walking, how to handle distractions and more.   Class size is limited.  Here's how to grab a spot:

Sign onto your customer portal and request a reservation for our group class.   Make sure your dog has updated vaccines and you have a valid credit card on file.

Click the Make a Res tab above and follow the instructions for becoming a new customer.  Once you have registered please upload vaccines, add a valid credit card and request a spot in our class.   A Meet & Greet appointment is not necessary, however if you are a new client, you must arrive 20 minutes early on your first session so we can meet your dog and make sure he/she will be a good fit for the class.  (We won't allow aggressive dogs in the class and dogs that are not friendly around other dogs).

• Each class costs $55 per person/dog
• A package of 6 classes can be purchased on our portal for $300, however purchasing a package is not required to participate. In addition, purchasing a package does not guarantee a spot in a class.  Reservations have to be requested and accepted.
• If you purchase a package, you do NOT have to come to six consecutive classes.  You can skip a class or two if you like.   However, package credits will expire after one year of purchase date.
• Classes will run every Tuesday.  There is no start and end date to these classes, they will continue each week.
• In case of inclement weather, the class may be moved to our indoor training room, or rescheduled.  All participants will be notified either the day before or morning of the class if a change has been made.
• If you have a confirmed reservation and must cancel, call our office immediately.   Cancellations cannot be done online.  We require cancellation by 12noon on the day of the class in order to avoid paying for the class.
• If you would like to make a reservation for a class and it's sold out, please email hello@tannerscanineresort.com and ask to be put on the group class waitlist for x date.   We may add a trainer (so we can expand the class) and you will be notified.
• WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS:  Please bring your dog on a martingale collar, a 6' nylon leash and some high-value training treats, that your dog loves.  Also please make sure you are dressed for the weather as most of the time classes will be outdoors.
